Local No. 4 has elected not to renew its contract with Security Mutual Life Insurance Company.   Effective September 1, 2007, Local No. 4 members will be covered by THE HARTFORD INSURANCE COMPANY.  This move signifies both improved coverage for our members, as well as reduced premium costs for Local No. 4. 

The major changes are as follows:

            Active Members: (Class 1)                   

                       Basic Life: $10,000
                          AD&D: $10,000

            Retired Members: (Class 2)

                       Basic Life: $5,000

All members previously enrolled in the Security Mutual group policy have been automatically enrolled in the new HARTFORD policy.  Nevertheless, it is very important that you fill out a new BENEFICIARY DESIGNATION form and return it to this office as soon as possible.  This form is available for download, or can be mailed to you upon request. A copy of your policy will be sent to you shortly.  It is important that you keep it in a secure location.
